RECORD STORE DAY/RSD BLACK FRIDAY OVERVIEW

Record Store Day Black Friday is one of the most anticipated events of the year for vinyl collectors and music fans alike. To help the day run smoothly, we’ve outlined a few key guidelines for how Record Store Day events operate at Twist & Shout. Please review the information below before attending to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for everyone.
  1. For RSD Black Friday we will be opening at our usual time of 10AM.
  2. For all RSD events we order everything that is offered to us. However, due to situations beyond our control, titles are sometimes bumped, our orders allocated, or shipments don’t arrive here. But we try to have literally everything on the list.
  3. You are welcome to line up in advance of opening. The bulk of the line forms in the two hours leading up to opening.
  4. All RSD items are available in-store only for the weekend of the event. Record Store Day was created as an event to celebrate physical brick and mortar record stores, and so we first offer all RSD items to customers who are physically here, in the store. Consequently, we do not offer phone orders, online orders, pre-orders, or holds on any RSD titles during the weekend. There are no exceptions to this rule.
  5. Additionally, in the interests of fairness to everyone, customers are limited to one (1) copy of any RSD title during the weekend — you may buy as many different items as you wish, but only one copy of any individual title. There are no exceptions to this rule, either.
  6. We cannot offer any information about quantities or pricing on titles during the weekend of the event. To find that out, you will need to come to the store during the weekend of Black Friday.
